Smoothies are great as a quick snack, a tasty breakfast or a convenient way of adding extra fruit to your diet. There are plenty of easy options, so you can generally use whatever fruit you have left over at home, but here are a selection of delicious recipes to get you started.

These recipes bring in a variety of flavours to suit your taste and preference. If you prefer, the berries in these recipes can be frozen to add a refreshing coolness to the smoothies.

Strawberry & Banana Smoothie

  • ½ Cup Chopped Banana
  • ½ Cup Strawberries
  • 1 Cup Natural Yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  1. Pour the banana and strawberries into the blender.
  2. Top with the honey
  3. Add the yoghurt
  4. Blitz until smooth
  5. Serve in a glass
Mixed Berry Smoothie
  • 1 Cup Mixed Frozen Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • ½ Banana
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Natural Yoghurt
  1. Add both the yoghurt and milk to the blender
  2. Chop the banana into small chunks
  3. Add the berries and banana to the blender
  4. Blitz until smooth
  5. Serve in a glass
Tropical Fruit Smoothie
  • ½ Cup Pineapple Chunks
  • ½ Cup Mango Chunks
  • 1 Cup Vanilla Yoghurt
  • Pour the vanilla yoghurt into the blender
  • Add the fruit and blend together until smooth.
  • Serve in a glass
Autumn Spice Smoothie
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Pear
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Golden Syrup or Honey
  • 1 Cup Greek Yoghurt
  1. Peel and chop the apple and pear
  2. Mix in with ½ tsp cinnamon
  3. Leave to stand for 5 minutes
  4. Pour the fruit and cinnamon mix into the blender
  5. Top with the golden syrup or honey and Greek yoghurt
  6. Blend until smooth
  7. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon
