Juice your way to five a day...

The holiday season and the beginning of winter takes its toll on the best of us. Whether you're feeling under the weather, tired from too many late nights or just in need of a New Year's boost, no supplement is a match for the vitamins, minerals and nutrients found in vegetables and fruit.

Juicing is a simple way to re-energise, cleanse, boost your immune system and get all of your five a day in one. Here are our five favourite healthy juicing recipes to get you started this year.

1. The Green One
Rich in antioxidant ingredients, this juice is sure to make you feel fresher after a heavy party season
2 apples
1
handful parsley
1 handful spinach
1/2 lemon
1 cucumber
1 celery stick
1 inch piece ginger

2. The Orange One
Great for if you're feeling under the weather, this juice contains plenty of vitamins to boost your immune system

1 apple
1 inch piece ginger
3 carrots
2 cloves of garlic
1 orange
1 handful parsley

3. The Purple One
Refreshing, hydrating and packed full of antioxidants and vitamins, this juice is fantastic for rehydrating dry, tired skin this winter

1 cup of blueberries

1 cucumber
1 apple
1/2 lemon (no rind)
1 sprig of mint

4. The Yellow One
Packed full of protein, this juice is great for refueling after a heavy workout whilst helping to build and repair muscle

 1 banana
1 orange
1/2 medium sweet potato
1 handful of almond

5. The Pink One
Rich in cleansing ingredients, this juice is perfect for aiding digestion after an indulgent holiday season

1 apple
2 carrots
1 beetroot
1/2 inch of ginger
1/2 lemon (no rind)
